These are the latest gymnastic rings designed for fitness and bodyweight training. They come with many innovations to turn the humble gymnastic ring into an all out fitness solution that will challenge you like nothing else.

These fitness rings go over and above other solutions on the market. Here's a breakdown of the features...
The EXF Rings
The first innovation that strikes us about the EXF Rings is the multi-textured surface.

Essentially, what you have is three different grip surfaces on the rings... the lighter microtexture for those that prefer their grip tame, the rough texture for real hold and good chalk adhesion and the non-slip rubberized grip for what promises to make the ring muscle-up that little bit more achievable.
The introduction of the multi-texture is a nice touch and great for a communal gym where user preference is key.
The rings themselves are made from the same material used in riot shields and aircraft components, meaning that a single ring can support over one thousand pounds!
But the innovations don't stop there...
The EXF Mounting Mechanism
Things get even more interesting in the mounting mechanism for the EXF Rings. The average fitness rings come with straps and a buckle that are secured into a solid loop, but the EXF mixes things up a little.
These rings still have standard CAM buckles to setup the rings in 'legacy' mode but now they feature a new S-buckle to attach the rings back onto themselves. This means that mounting height is significantly increased and the rings can be setup from 11 inches to 17.5 feet (perfect for anyone who needs to train somewhere with unusually high ceilings!) and also that the ring setup pain is taken away and they can be rigged up and ready to go, both rings to exactly the same height in under 5 seconds (Ring height can be easily levelled through a nice little touch to the straps by displaying printed measurements).

Finally, another feature that really impressed us is that the rings can now be mounted into a standard door frame with no permanent fixings. Kind of taking the rings into the realms of suspension training and competing with the TRX (read our TRX Review here). Perfect for travellers and taking your training on the road.

Ring Training has taken the simple and effective design of the fitness ring and turned it on its head, introducing innovative features which not only extend the capability of the equipment but make it incredibly easy to use and solve some of the fundamental limitations with the common ring design.
