The Gymboss gets a five star review because it does everything and more you'd want from an interval timer and at a great price, coming in under $20.

It's really simple to use and helps you manage your workouts so you can concentrate on the training instead of your timings. Use it for your high intensity intervals, jump rope training, heavy bag workouts, or tabata intervals or anytime you are shifting between exercises in quick succession or monitoring your rest periods.

We found the Gymboss to be a great motivational aid as there's just no ignoring those beeps or vibrations. First set your intervals (say 45/30 - 45 seconds intense exercise, 30 seconds rest) and repeat for the duration of your workout (say 10 minutes) for an intense fat burning workout.

You won't find a better interval trainer available at this price. It has the interval functionality nailed, can be set to beep or vibrate, is small enough to be inconspicuous when wearing it and we can personally testify to its water and shock resistance.
